22 Nov 2026 - 8 Dec 2026
(17 days)
Embark on a 1,450 NM sail from Palau to the Philippines, an archipelago of over 7,600 islands, for a premier yachting, snorkeling, and hiking adventure. The Palawan region is a particular highlight, where the dramatic limestone cliffs and turquoise lagoons of El Nido and Coron create a spectacular backdrop for cruising. As part of the Coral Triangle, the Philippines is a world-class destination for underwater exploration. The vibrant reefs are teeming with life, from colorful fish, manta rays to whale sharks. Snorkelers can explore the serene freshwater lakes of Coron, witness the spectacular sardine run in Moalboal or experience encounters with sea turtles in Malapascua Island. Beyond the coast, the country's volcanic and mountainous islands offer rewarding hikes with trails that often lead to majestic waterfalls, terraced rice paddies, and panoramic viewpoints overlooking the sea.

What to Expect: Palau to the Philippines
Crossing the Philippine Sea
The voyage from Palau to the Philippines is a classic westward ocean passage. This is the leg where you truly feel the scale of the Pacific. As we leave the protection of Palau’s reefs, we head into the deep blue, crossing over the Palau Trench—one of the deepest parts of the world’s oceans—before making our grand entrance into Southeast Asia.
Life on Board
The Daily Rhythm
Who is this for?
The Blue-Water Rhythm: This is a 4-to-6 day passage designed for those who want to experience the "Zen" of offshore sailing. As an active crew member, you’ll be fully integrated into the watch system. You’ll learn to trim sails for the prevailing trade winds, manage the yacht’s power and water systems, and stand watch as the sun dips below a 360-degree horizon.
Navigation & Strategy: Under the guidance of our professional skipper, you’ll help plot our course toward the Surigao Strait or Siargao. You’ll gain hands-on experience with modern navigation tools while keeping a traditional "seaman’s eye" on the weather patterns of the Philippine Sea.
Camaraderie at Sea: Offshore passages forge the strongest bonds. Between your watches, you’ll share fresh meals, engage in deep conversations under the stars, and enjoy the rare luxury of being completely "unplugged" from the outside world.
Oceanic Crossing: The days are defined by the elements. You’ll experience the thrill of the yacht surging through the swells, the excitement of a clicking fishing reel (expect Mahi-Mahi or Tuna!), and the peaceful solitude of the "graveyard watch" under a canopy of stars.
The Landfall: There is no feeling quite like spotting the lush, tropical mountains of the Philippines after days at sea. As we approach the coastline, the deep cobalt of the ocean shifts to vibrant turquoise, and the air fills with the scent of tropical earth and woodsmoke.
A New Frontier: Our arrival marks the gateway to the Philippines. Depending on the weather, we’ll drop anchor near the surfing mecca of Siargao or the hidden lagoons of Bucas Grande, where the sailing transitions from ocean passage-making to tropical island-hopping.
This trip is for the adventurous spirit who wants to bridge the gap between the Pacific and Asia. It is ideal for sailors looking to build their offshore miles and for travelers who find beauty in the journey as much as the destination. If you want to experience a "milestone" passage and be part of the crew that brings the yacht into Philippine waters, this is your expedition.
