You’ll join a distinguished research team to investigate pollution firsthand in two of the country's most spectacular locations: the pristine, subtropical Bay of Islands and the ecologically crucial Barrier Islands, a haven for rare and endangered species. You will assist researchers in gathering data and pinpointing the sources of this pollution. We'll also capture powerful stories from our expedition—from personal deck diaries to documentary films—to create a ripple effect of change far beyond our crew.


Opua to Tonga via Minerva Reef

Join a research expedition to tackle the plastic crisis in Tonga. This unique journey will take you to the capital city, Nuku'alofa, on the raised atoll of Tongatapu. Along the way, we'll stop at Minerva Reef, a site of unique biological importance, to witness how plastic pollution is impacting its delicate ecosystem. You’ll assist a distinguished research team in gathering data and determining sources of pollution. We'll also document our expedition with powerful stories and films, aiming to inspire action far beyond our crew.


Tonga's Tongatapu & Ha'apai Island Groups

Join a distinguished research team on a discovery journey to confront the plastic crisis in Tonga's island nation. Our mission will take us to two unique and spectacular locations: the densely populated island group of Tongatapu, home to the capital city, and the remote, pristine coral atolls of the Ha'apai island group. You will assist researchers in gathering crucial data and pinpointing upstream sources of pollution. Beyond the science, we will capture and share powerful stories—from deck diaries to documentary films—to create a ripple effect of change that inspires action to protect these vital and cherished Pacific islands.


Tonga Ha'apai & Vava'u to Samoa

Experience the best of the South Pacific, where volcanic landscapes and vibrant coastlines set the scene for incredible adventures. In Tonga's Ha'apai region, find a tranquil paradise with pristine white-sand beaches and healthy coral reefs, teeming with marine life. Then, sail to American Samoa and Samoa, where rugged volcanic mountains meet a diverse coast of white- and black-sand beaches and steep cliffs. The vibrant coral reefs create serene lagoons for kayaking and stand-up paddleboarding. The clear, warm waters provide a playground for snorkeling, scuba diving, and exploring colorful marine life.
Samoa, Wallis and Futuna to Fiji

Sail from Samoa to cruise Wallis and Futuna/Alofi and then onto Fiji. The islands are of volcanic origin, with Wallis being a low-lying island surrounded by a stunning lagoon and a barrier reef dotted with uninhabited islets. Futuna and its neighbor, the uninhabited Alofi, are more mountainous with steep volcanic peaks. The region's culture is deeply Polynesian, with strong ancestral ties to Tonga for the Wallis islands and Samoa for Futuna. With very limited tourism, the islands offer a rare and authentic experience, with activities focused on exploring their natural beauty, from snorkeling and diving in pristine lagoons to hiking up volcanic peaks and discovering ancient Tongan fort ruins.
