4 May 2027 - 20 May 2027
(17 days)
Embark on an amazing 900 nautical mile expedition from Mahé, Seychelles, to Nosy-Be, Madagascar. Our journey will take us to the stunning and lesser-known Comoros islands, where we will spend several days cruising this volcanic archipelago. Here, the dramatic landscape of fertile soil and rugged coastlines is dominated by Mount Karthala, one of the world's largest active volcanoes. Known as the "Perfume Islands," the Comoros are a sensory delight. From there, we will sail to Mayotte to explore its stunning barrier reef and one of the world's most spectacular lagoons, a haven for vibrant coral reefs, sea turtles, dolphins, and even seasonal humpback whales. Our journey then concludes with our arrival at the equally stunning Nosy-Be in Madagascar.

What to Expect: Seychelles, Coromos, Mayotte to Madagascar
The Spice & Perfume Route
This 900-nautical-mile journey is an explorer's dream. Unlike standard "resort-to-resort" trips, we traverse the Mozambique Channel and visit islands that remain almost entirely untouched by modern tourism. From the French-influenced lagoons of Mayotte to the traditional Sultanates of the Comoros, this leg is a deep dive into the "Secret Indian Ocean."
Life on Board
The Daily Rhythm
Who is this for?
The Navigator’s Challenge: This leg offers a mix of exhilarating blue-water passages and technical coastal navigation. As an active crew member, you’ll help manage the yacht as we navigate the currents of the Mozambique Channel, stand watch under the brilliant southern stars, and help plot our course through the intricate reef systems of Mayotte.
Cultural Immersive Sailing: We don't just sail past these islands; we integrate with them. You’ll assist the crew in the logistics of visiting remote ports where the air smells of ylang-ylang and cloves. On board, our meals will reflect the regions we pass, utilizing fresh spices from local markets in Moroni and Mahé.
Small Team Expedition: On our 70ft yacht, you’ll be part of a close-knit team of adventurers. This is an environment of shared responsibility and shared reward, where the bond of the crew is forged by the unique experiences of exploring "off-the-map" territories together.
Island Hopping the High Seas: The rhythm of this trip is a series of "sprint" passages—2 to 3 days at sea followed by deep exploration on land. You’ll experience the thrill of the open ocean and the immediate reward of a new, exotic landfall.
World-Class Diving & Snorkeling: In Mayotte, we’ll explore one of the largest double-barrier reefs in the world. In the Comoros, you’ll see volcanic landscapes that drop vertically into the deep blue.
The Madagascar Arrival: Our journey concludes as we make landfall in the Nosy Be archipelago. You’ll swap the rigging for the jungle, trekking through reserves to see lemurs, chameleons, and the iconic baobab trees that make Madagascar the "Eighth Continent."
This leg is for the cultural collector and the adventurous soul. It is perfect for those who want a "raw" travel experience combined with the technical satisfaction of a major sailing expedition. If you want to see the places that airplanes overlook and experience the true "perfume" of the Indian Ocean, this is your voyage.
